A private equity organization in Miami is hiring a Finance Manager who is equally strong in the books and in the analysis. You'll run accounting operations, lead an offshore accounting team, and turn the numbers into insight leadership can act on.
Work arrangement: Hybrid, starting with an initial on-site period in Miami. Remote will be considered for the right candidate, but it isn't the preference.
What you'll own
- Daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and the month-end close
- AP workflows, run through offshore resources and a part-time AP specialist
- Supervising and mentoring the offshore accounting staff
- Financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Financial insights for leadership, and support for operational improvements
- Compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
- Process improvement and automation across Sage Intacct, Ramp, and related tools
What we're hunting for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance — CPA or MBA preferred
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong command of GAAP and technical accounting
- Hands-on Sage Intacct experience (or a comparable cloud ERP)
- A track record of managing distributed or offshore teams
- Sharp analytical, communication, and leadership skills
